Unit #2 - excellent condition - near mint:: Proven to perform perfectly in all aspects.  No detectable problems or defects.

Unit #3 - very good condition - near mint:: Proven to perform very well. Volume control slightly noisy when being adjusted.  Clean performance.

Unit #4 - good condition:  left rear channel slightly stronger than right rear channel; volume easily equalized by external balance control or 2-channel volume control.

Unit #5 - fair to good condition:  distorts at high input volume.

Unit #6 - working: left rear channel excellent, but right rear channel weak and distorts; excellent unit for a mono or center rear channel; purchase with Unit #1 or Unit #2 for a superb 3-rear-channel delay/ambience system.  Purchase with Unit # 1 AND #2 for an awesome 5-side-and-rear-channel delay/ambience system.

GREAT ITEMS for HOME THEATER effects.

Time delay and processing creates excellent rear-channel ambience without altering the front-channel signals.  However, there is an option of adding a variable degree of time delay to, and on top of, the front-channel signals.

Each unit is an excellent device to create the effects of a concert hall.  The use of two or more SD-550 units creates awesome ambience to your sound system.
